Frankly speaking, having posting in hospital can be very fun though by ignoring all the complains and tension being a student.
As for today, I was lucky to be around to get to see an ongoing procedure of a lumbar puncture and the insertion of a indwelling catheter in male patient. Both the procedure is being done by the doctor and the possibility of getting the opportunity to see the procedures are by chance. So, I'm the lucky ones.
Both the procedure is going on at the same time but on different patient.
So, as soon as the insertion of an indwelling catheter is done, quickly I walked to the other cubicle where the lumbar puncture is being done. Though I wasn't around since the start of the procedure,
however, I got the chance to see the collection of CSF.
And, it's a great experience seeing both the procedures being done!
I was pretty struggle with the path I chosen couple of days ago. Anyway, tough days all gone and I should look forward, not the past.
For I am clear in the way that no matter what career it is, there's pros and cons. So do nursing.
I make myself clear with the strength and the weakness I owned.
Perhaps actions I taken in improving my weakness can make a great difference in my life one day later.
